Nice hosted a Regional Championship in the 2027 season on 17–18 October. The Pokémon TCG Masters division drew 2,336 players, including competitors from the Slovenian Pokémon community.
Matic makes Day 2 again
After reaching Day 2 in Frankfurt, Matic Pirnat did it again in Nice. He finished 230th with seven wins, three losses and four draws.
Matic improved on his 349th-place finish in Frankfurt to break into the top 250 in Nice. Back-to-back Day 2 finishes at events of this size are an excellent achievement.
Congratulations to all the Slovenian players who competed in Nice, and especially to Matic on reaching Day 2 at two Regionals in a row!
Tournament pairings are available on the official RK9 event page. You can also find the final TCG standings and final VGC standings.
