The First Slovenia Card Show Successfully Brought the Card Community Together
On Saturday, March 21, 2026, the first Slovenia Card Show took place at Gospodarsko razstavišče in Ljubljana, marking an important event for the local community of collectors, players, and trading card enthusiasts. It brought together visitors from Slovenia and abroad and offered a space for meeting, sharing experiences, buying, selling, and trading cards.
The event was held across more than 1,200 square meters of exhibition space, where a variety of vendors and exhibitors presented their offers. Visitors were able to explore a wide range of collectible cards, including Pokémon, One Piece, Yu-Gi-Oh!, sports cards, and other interesting collectibles. Card grading was also part of the event, which attracted even more collectors.
An important part of the program was the tournament lineup, which gave the event additional energy and a strong competitive character. Tournaments were organized for Yu-Gi-Oh!, One Piece, Pokémon TCG, and Riftbound, where players competed for prizes and strong placements. The competitive program complemented the exhibition area very well and showed that the card show was not only for collectors, but also for active players.
In addition to the exhibition and tournament program, the event also featured giveaways, pack openings, and a relaxed side program that created a welcoming atmosphere throughout the day. This combination of fair-style browsing, tournaments, and community activities helped make Slovenia Card Show appealing both to experienced visitors and to those attending such an event for the first time.
The first Slovenia Card Show clearly showed that the Slovenian community of card collectors and players is strong, connected, and ready for more events like this. We hope this was only the beginning of a new tradition that will continue to grow in the future.
